Procurement Specialist – Project Indirect & Minor Procurement

About the role

Oilserv Limited is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage indirect and minor procurement activities for the AKK project. The role supports the Project Supply Chain Manager in achieving procurement objectives and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Procure all project indirect and minor materials as directed.
• Process purchase requisitions, verify prices, request and analyse quotes using GEP, and obtain approvals before ordering in SAP.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate purchase terms, and create purchase orders for local, foreign, and corporate procurements.
• Develop and manage frame agreements with suppliers and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Support bid and tender activities, including reviews and evaluations.
• Monitor market prices, maintain a price database, and identify standardisation opportunities.
• Research and qualify prospective local and foreign suppliers, conduct due‑diligence reports, and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Liaise with logistics partners, track execution, and follow up on deliveries to meet lead‑time commitments.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and ensure compliance with Supply Chain Governance Board approvals.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement within EPC or oil & gas projects.
• Familiarity with SAP and GEP procurement tools.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse market trends and drive cost‑efficiency.
