Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers for raw materials, equipment and services needed for our factory and plantation operations. The role includes preparing purchase orders, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely procurement of coconuts, farm inputs and production materials.

Key responsibilities

• Source and assess suppliers for raw materials, equipment and services.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for coconuts, farm inputs and production materials.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms with vendors.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production and farm teams to avoid shortages.
• Inspect delivered goods for quality and accuracy and maintain procurement records.
• Collaborate with finance on invoice processing and payment follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum three years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with procurement software.
