About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Officer to support our retail/supermarket business in Lagos. The role involves sourcing products, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring the timely delivery of quality goods to meet store needs.
Key responsibilities
- Sourcing and selecting products for the supermarket.
- Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
- Managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Monitoring inventory levels and stock movements.
- Conducting market surveys to identify new opportunities.
- Ensuring timely delivery of goods that meet quality standards.
Required profile
- OND in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
- At least 3 years of procurement experience in supermarket or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Lagos market and supplier networks.
- Willingness to stay in provided shared staff accommodation.
- Availability to work onsite Monday‑Saturday with Sundays off.
