Primary School Teacher

About the role

Odixcity Consulting is seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join its team in Port Harcourt, Marina. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality lessons across core subjects and fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in literacy, numeracy, science and social studies aligned with state and national standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom that meets diverse learning needs.
• Assess and track student progress, provide feedback and adapt instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, specialists and parents.
• Support students' social‑emotional development and promote positive behaviour.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certificate/license for primary grades.
• At least two years of experience teaching in a primary classroom, including student teaching.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Commitment to differentiated instruction and child‑centred learning.

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
