Porter – Guest Services & Luggage Assistance

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Porter to join our hotel team in Port Harcourt. You will be the first point of contact for guests, helping them feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel facilities and services.
• Provide information on hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation, and events.
• Support the front‑desk team during busy periods and help with check‑in/check‑out when needed.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to meet guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of entrance areas, lobbies, and luggage storage.
• Monitor public areas to ensure guest safety and security.
• Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms.

Required profile

• Minimum HND qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar porter or guest‑service role.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and courteous demeanor.
