About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy in Port Harcourt. The role involves dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring the pharmacy operates in compliance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions, reviewing dosages, contraindications, allergies and potential drug interactions.
• Provide clear counseling on medication usage, adherence, storage, side‑effects and dietary interactions.
• Monitor stock levels, manage controlled‑drug registers and ensure proper storage conditions, including cold‑chain maintenance.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, sales assistants and cashiers, maintaining professional and hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate daily records of dispensed medicines and required regulatory documentation.

Required profile

• Mid‑level pharmacist with at least 36 months of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of prescription verification and medication safety.
• Ability to assess patient information and clinical vital signs when required.
• Professional judgment for high‑risk and chronic‑condition treatments.
