Owner – Strategic Leadership for National Industrial Court Nigeria

About the role

The Owner is a full‑time hybrid position based in Abuja, responsible for steering the overall operations of the National Industrial Court Nigeria. This senior role combines on‑site presence at No 1, Justice Adejumo with occasional remote work, ensuring strategic direction aligns with legal, regulatory and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all organisational functions, supervising senior staff and key departments.
• Set and monitor strategic goals, reviewing operational and financial performance.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and represent the court in high‑level discussions.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, legal regulations and ethical standards.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and management experience overseeing teams and organisational operations.
• Background in law, public administration, business management or a related field, with familiarity in industrial relations or labour matters.
• Excellent strategic planning, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.
• High integrity, professionalism and commitment to inclusive workplace practices.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and regulatory compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is an advantage.
