Operations Officer

About the role

The Operations Officer will oversee daily transportation and logistics activities for Swift Consulting in Lagos. This role ensures that vehicles, drivers, and routes operate efficiently while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transportation and logistics operations, monitoring drivers, vehicles, routes, and schedules.
• Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, available, and adhere to assigned routes.
• Track vehicle movements, fuel consumption, and trip activities, maintaining accurate records.
• Liaise with drivers, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
• Prepare regular operational reports for management and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support documentation, servicing, repairs, and renewals of the vehicle fleet.

Required profile

• HND in Business Administration, Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in transport, logistics, fleet, or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and fleet operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
