Operations Manager – Logistics & Delivery

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead Omacart’s daily logistics network in Port Harcourt, ensuring that orders are picked, packed and delivered within the promised one‑hour window. This full‑time hybrid position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on problem solving to keep the delivery service fast, accurate and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise order fulfillment, routing and delivery performance across the shopper and partner network.
• Analyse operational metrics, identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Manage, coach and schedule operations staff to meet service‑level agreements.
• Coordinate closely with customer support, partner stores and external delivery partners.
• Prepare regular reports on KPIs, capacity planning and cost efficiency.
• Support the rollout of new tools, processes and expansion into additional locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, e‑commerce or grocery delivery operations.
• Strong people‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make evidence‑based decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Self‑starter who can work independently and respond quickly to operational issues.
