About the role

Laim Hotel, a 5‑star hospitality establishment, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise its daily operations. The role focuses on cost‑effective management, profitability improvement, and maintaining high standards of service across all departments. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic objectives and ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost‑effective manner.
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
• Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure organisational processes remain legally compliant.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff.
• Identify ways to increase quality of customer service.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar senior role.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
• Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Familiarity with business and financial principles.
• Outstanding organisational skills.
