About the role

The Operational Supervisor will lead daily hotel operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional service and that all departments work seamlessly together. This role requires close coordination with department heads, proactive problem‑solving, and a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily hotel operations across all departments.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and ensure a high level of service.
• Monitor staff performance, enforce policies, and assist with scheduling.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities to uphold quality standards.
• Manage inventory levels and report operational needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and update hotel management.
• Support staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Assist revenue‑generating activities and help achieve occupancy targets.
• Handle emergencies and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or equivalent in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality supervision (approximately 2 years).
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hotel management software.
