About the role
The consultant will support UNICEF Nigeria’s nutrition programme by providing strategic and technical guidance to strengthen communication, advocacy, youth engagement and knowledge management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication and advocacy strategies for nutrition interventions.
- Lead youth engagement, social mobilization and stakeholder outreach activities.
- Enhance media relations, visibility and donor recognition initiatives.
- Oversee knowledge management, documentation and dissemination of best practices.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Communication, Public Health, Social Sciences or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in advocacy, social and behaviour change, or public‑health communication.
- Proven experience working with UNICEF, UN agencies, governments, NGOs and media partners.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi‑stakeholder initiatives and produce high‑quality documentation and case studies.
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
