Mobile Application Developer

About the role

This is a full‑time Mobile Application Developer role based in Lagos, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on‑site work and work‑from‑home flexibility. The developer will design, build, and maintain mobile applications that support Leadremit’s payment and remittance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient code and apply object‑oriented programming principles.
• Integrate APIs and payment gateways while ensuring app performance and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the mobile development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong experience in end‑to‑end mobile application development.
• Solid knowledge of OOP principles and patterns in mobile environments.
• Hands‑on iOS development using Swift or Objective‑C; Android experience with Kotlin or Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, mobile security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
