Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will apply professional medical knowledge to operate and maintain medical services, including regulatory compliance, clinical assessments, and emergency care. The role involves providing health‑check plans, coordinating screenings, and supporting the medical director in evidence‑based initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medical opinions, health‑check plans and periodic screening packages.
• Liaise with digital marketing and visiting consultants to generate content and support income‑generation strategies.
• Interpret medical reports, assess urgency, conduct examinations, investigations and deliver basic treatment following standard protocols.
• Supervise nurses, clinical officers, health workers and technicians, and maintain clinical documentation.
• Assist the Medical Director with projects such as developing an evidence‑based library and coordinating case management.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nigerian Medical Council and the NMA.
• Minimum 4 years experience as a General Duty Officer or equivalent.
• Proficiency in emergency medicine, intensive care and advanced life‑support techniques.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and ability to communicate at all organisational levels.
