About the role

The Medical Laboratory Scientist will join Twins Clinic and Hospital to perform a wide range of diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely results that support patient care. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with advanced laboratory instrumentation in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain advanced instruments such as microscopes, cell counters, and automated analyzers.
• Implement strict quality control procedures to guarantee reliable test outcomes.
• Report critical findings promptly to physicians and healthcare teams.
• Evaluate and introduce new testing procedures and technologies.
• Conduct tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and blood banking.
• Interpret test results, identify abnormalities, and assess their clinical significance.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Current registration and practicing license from the Medical and Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
• Entry‑level experience (up to 12 months).

Required skills

• Proficiency with microscopes.
• Experience using cell counters.
• Familiarity with automated analyzers.
• Basic computer and office equipment operation.
