Medical Doctor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join our Lagos clinic, delivering comprehensive patient care, diagnostics, and health promotion as part of the London Professional Training Centre team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, medical assessments and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, prescribe medications and order appropriate investigations.
• Interpret laboratory and radiology results, explain findings to patients and provide clinical guidance.
• Identify emergencies, provide initial management and arrange timely referrals to specialists.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and ensure follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with nursing, laboratory, radiology and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification from a recognised institution.
• Completed NYSC and minimum two years post‑NYSC clinical experience.
• Valid registration and practising licence with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Experience in hospital, clinic or diagnostic centre settings is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic investigations and laboratory results.
