About the role
The role involves providing nursing care and quality assurance for enrollees of a health maintenance organization operating across Nigeria. The nurse will handle enquiries, manage claims, and support case management for admitted patients.
Key responsibilities
- Attend to and resolve enrollee enquiries, ensuring first‑call resolution or escalation.
- Log all interactions for management analysis and documentation.
- Vet and benchmark bills from network facilities against pre‑authorized codes.
- Review claims, contact enrollees for service authorisation, and investigate any abuse or neglect.
- Follow up on admitted enrollees, document progress, and assist care teams with health interventions.
- Participate in case management through scheduled and unscheduled visits.
Required profile
- Graduate Professional Nurse with a first degree from an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program.
- Registered and licensed practitioner; additional training in primary health care or midwifery is desirable.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of nursing and midwifery experience.
- Ability to work with computers and communication software.
