Mechanical & Electrical Technician – Production

About the role

We are looking for a project manager with electrical/mechanical technical or engineering experience to supervise the teamwork of junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Operate lathe machines and apply mechatronics in production processes.
• Support junior engineers and technicians in equipment and process improvements.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve potential mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain equipment reliability and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards during all maintenance activities.
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new projects.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, HND or BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an engineering or production environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a hands‑on approach.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, tools and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
