Marketing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Officer to drive the sales and distribution of petroleum products, acquire new customers, manage existing accounts, and achieve set sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth and increase market share.
• Lead field marketing activities and build strong relationships with key clients, distributors, wholesalers, and corporate customers.
• Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close high‑value sales.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
• Prepare marketing reports, sales forecasts, and performance analyses for management.
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to ensure efficient product distribution and customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at business meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.

Required profile

• BSC/HND in social sciences, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in sales/marketing, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Must reside in Abuja and own a functional smartphone.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
