About the role
The Marketing Manager will lead DANG’s brand strategy, ensuring the brand reflects the company’s vision and commercial goals across all markets and customer touchpoints. This senior‑level role combines strategic brand leadership with cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth, market expansion and a consistent brand experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overarching brand strategy across all markets, channels and touchpoints, maintaining commercial relevance and cultural alignment.
- Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, visual identity, storytelling and customer experience across digital, retail, experiential and corporate environments.
- Act as the primary brand liaison, collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, Customer Experience and Leadership teams.
- Manage relationships with agencies, media partners, influencers and strategic partners to maximise brand visibility and performance.
- Support growth initiatives in existing and emerging markets (Nigeria, US, UK, Canada), driving customer acquisition, retention and revenue generation.
- Provide strategic oversight for campaigns, product launches and market expansion activities, aligning them with brand and commercial objectives.
- Set direction and creative standards for paid media and growth marketing, approving concepts, messaging frameworks and audience strategies.
- Oversee brand presentation and customer experience across owned and partner sales channels, including the DANG website, marketplaces, retail stores and third‑party platforms.
Required profile
- Proven experience in leading brand strategy and positioning for consumer‑focused brands.
- Strong track record of cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, sales, operations and finance teams.
- Experience managing external agencies, media partners and strategic collaborations.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth initiatives in multiple geographic markets.
- Excellent communication skills to convey brand direction internally and externally.
