Marketing Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Business Development Executive to accelerate growth for our consulting practice. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, promoting payroll and HR services, and building strategic relationships with public and private sector clients in Abuja.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities for consulting services.
• Market payroll outsourcing, HR consulting, recruitment, training, and advisory solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), corporations, NGOs and development partners.
• Conduct client visits, presentations and deliver compelling proposals.
• Follow up on leads and proposals to improve conversion rates.
• Gather market intelligence and spot emerging opportunities.
• Represent the firm at networking events, conferences and exhibitions.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date client and prospect database.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and prepare regular activity reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, Mass Communication or a related field.
• 2–3 years proven experience in business development or marketing within consulting, HR, payroll or professional services.
• Demonstrated experience marketing payroll or HR solutions.
• Experience working with or marketing to public‑sector organisations is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of Abuja’s business districts, government institutions and corporate landscape.
