Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The role will oversee day‑to‑day maintenance of the hotel’s facilities, equipment, utilities and building infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient operation with minimal disruption to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities across the hotel.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and other facility systems.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and equipment breakdowns.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and artisans.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service schedules.
• Monitor generators, water systems, pumps, air‑conditioning units, electrical systems and other critical equipment.
• Coordinate external technicians and contractors when required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hotel maintenance standards.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage and other departments to resolve maintenance issues.

Required profile

• OND Eng. or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Technology, Facilities Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant maintenance experience, preferably within a hotel, hospitality, commercial or residential environment.
• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and work under pressure.
• Strong communication, organisational and team‑management abilities.
• Must be hands‑on, reliable, proactive and safety‑conscious.
