Loss Prevention Officer – Security & Safety

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests and employees at Raffia City Plaza. This full‑time, on‑site position requires proactive patrols, rapid response to incidents, and thorough documentation of all security‑related events.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire‑life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact EMS as needed.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and call for outside assistance when necessary.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and daily activity logs.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents/thefts and maintain confidentiality of all reports.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Local Nigerian candidate able to work full‑time on site.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unaided.
• Read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
