About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Logistics Associate to support the continuous provision of affordable, high‑quality supplies and services in Nigeria. Working under the direct supervision of the Supply and Logistics Specialist, the role ensures logistics operations comply with UNICEF policies and ethical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Clearance of incoming goods and coordination with customs authorities.
- Support in‑country logistics, including transport and distribution planning.
- Assist warehouse and inventory management activities.
- Prepare and submit import regulatory documentation in liaison with Programme and Procurement teams.
- Monitor logistics commitments, spend and vendor allocations.
- Provide regular reporting and planning updates.
Required profile
- Ability to work under direct supervision in a fast‑paced humanitarian environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to UNICEF policies and procedures.
Required skills
- Knowledge of import/export regulations.
- Familiarity with warehouse and inventory processes.
