Loan Officer – Branch Management

About the role

The Loan Officer will lead the day‑to‑day operations of our Marina branch, driving loan portfolio growth and savings mobilization while ensuring compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily branch operations and supervise staff performance.
• Drive loan portfolio expansion and achieve savings targets.
• Oversee timely loan disbursement, repayment, and recovery.
• Monitor Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and implement strategies to reduce defaults.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and KYC standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Prepare and submit regular operational and performance reports.
• Safeguard company assets and maintain effective internal controls.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Microfinance Institution, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to achieve business targets and manage teams effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
