Legal Manager

About the role

The Legal Manager will oversee all legal aspects of CoreHR Consulting’s real estate and commercial activities, providing strategic advice to senior leadership and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and manage real estate and commercial legal documents
• Review property titles and identify legal risks
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, vendors, and consultants
• Maintain contract and legal‑risk registers and monitor key obligations
• Provide support on corporate governance and statutory matters
• Coordinate external solicitors and track outsourced legal matters
• Provide legal advice to the Managing Director on property, corporate, and contractual matters

Required profile

• LLB and BL; called to the Nigerian Bar and in good standing
• 5–8 years post‑call experience
• Strong experience in real estate/property and corporate/commercial law
• Experience with property, construction, tenancy, lease, and commercial agreements
• In‑house legal experience strongly preferred
• Strong contract management and stakeholder coordination skills
• Company secretarial/corporate governance experience is an advantage
