About the role
The Lead, Channels & Audit Analytics will support the Chief Audit Officer and Director in strengthening assurance over Moniepoint's digital channels, payments ecosystem, and technology‑enabled processes. You will design and execute risk‑based audits and data‑driven analytics to identify emerging risks and improve operational resilience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead risk‑based audits across digital channels, payment products, customer journeys and technology‑enabled processes, covering product governance, cybersecurity, and change management.
- Design and run audit analytics and continuous‑monitoring routines using tools such as SQL, Python, Superset, Redash, Power BI and Metabase to detect control failures, fraud indicators and operational inefficiencies.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments, track risk performance metrics and monitor remediation actions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance and Finance teams to understand system changes and emerging risks.
- Coach and mentor junior audit staff, contribute to internal‑audit strategy and improve methodologies through automation and AI‑enabled techniques.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Internal Audit, Audit Analytics, Data Analytics, Technology Audit or Risk Management within financial services or fintech.
- At least one professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE); a master’s or additional certification in analytics is a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced SQL scripting and data interrogation.
- Python programming for data analysis.
- Experience with analytical/visualisation tools such as Superset, Redash, Power BI, Metabase, IDEA, Alteryx or Tableau.
