Laundry Worker – Full-time On-site Position

About the role

The Laundry Worker role at Obi’s Spin Laundromat is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lagos Mainland (Idimu). You will handle the complete laundry process, ensuring each item meets the company’s quality standards while providing courteous service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and tag incoming laundry items.
• Operate washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning methods.
• Fold, package, and label finished items for delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
• Keep basic records of completed orders and follow safety and hygiene procedures.

Required profile

• Experience with basic laundry operations such as sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions, handle different fabric types, and identify suitable stain‑removal methods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and operate equipment safely.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work full‑time, including weekends or shift work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
