Kitchen Chef – Fast Food & Breakfast Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Chef to join our fast‑service restaurant in Gwarimpa, Abuja. You will be responsible for preparing a wide range of fast‑food, continental and local breakfast dishes while ensuring high standards of taste, presentation and hygiene in a busy kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare loaded fries, wings, burgers (chicken, beef, suya) and a variety of shawarma, noodles, sandwiches and pasta dishes.
• Cook stir‑fry spaghetti, peppered asun spaghetti and other quick‑service items.
• Execute breakfast menu items such as yam & egg sauce, plantain & egg sauce, akara & pap, beans & plantain, moimoi, full British breakfast, avocado toast with egg and veggie omelet.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety and proper storage throughout the kitchen.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistent taste and portion control.
• Support smooth kitchen operations and timely food delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a restaurant or fast‑food environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian and continental dishes.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Culinary school training is an advantage.
