Key Account Manager

About the role

Puratos is seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and manage strategic relationships with major food‑industry customers in Nigeria. The role focuses on driving growth through new project openings, expanding product portfolios and strengthening partnerships with industrial bakeries and large retail chains.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and open new business opportunities with top‑tier industrial bakeries and pastry producers, and develop and execute account strategies aligned with company growth targets.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets, introduce new products and solutions, negotiate contracts and pricing, and lead projects from concept to launch with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and customer insights, provide regular sales forecasts and reports, and collaborate with technical, R&D, logistics and marketing teams to deliver value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or key account management experience in the bakery, pastry or food‑ingredients industry.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining major accounts, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel across Nigeria.
• Analytical and project‑management abilities, fluent English, and curiosity about digital tools, data and AI.
