Junior Strategy Consultant – Business Advisory

About the role

Our client, a reputable consulting firm, is seeking a Junior Strategy Consultant to support strategy advisory, business transformation and performance improvement projects. The role involves end‑to‑end strategy work from diagnosis through to implementation planning for clients across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of corporate, business unit and functional strategies, including diagnosis, option generation, execution planning and performance tracking.
• Conduct industry, market and competitor research, analyse qualitative and quantitative data, and apply strategy tools such as SWOT, PESTLE and Porter’s Five Forces.
• Prepare executive‑level reports, presentation decks, interview guides and workshop materials, and document client discussions into actionable insights.
• Assist in designing implementation roadmaps, KPIs, governance structures and monitoring frameworks.
• Contribute to proposal writing, bid preparation and development of reusable tools and templates for the strategy practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, transformation or performance improvement.
• Experience in a consulting firm, Big 4 advisory practice or strategy boutique, preferably with exposure to sectors such as financial services, energy, telecom or technology.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and business writing skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
