Junior HR Business Partner (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking to hire a Junior HR Business Partner on a 6‑month contract to support day‑to‑day HR operations and partner with management in driving effective people practices. The role requires a hands‑on HR Generalist with experience in workforce management, employee relations, recruitment and HR administration within a structured work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Manage employee records and ensure proper HR documentation and compliance.
• Support performance management, disciplinary processes, and employee relations matters.
• Coordinate HR operations including attendance management, leave tracking, and staff communication.
• Partner with line managers to support workforce planning and people‑related initiatives.
• Assist with payroll input preparation and other HR administrative processes.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee data.

Required profile

• B.Sc./HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an in‑house HR professional, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Core HR generalist experience.
• HR certification is an added advantage.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
