IT Support Technician – Port Harcourt

About the role

We are looking for an IT Personnel to join our team in Port Harcourt, supporting the technology needs of a banking and finance organization. The role involves ensuring all IT equipment and services run smoothly for staff across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, network devices and software.
• Provide prompt technical support to staff for hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Manage the local network, internet connectivity, email systems and overall IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential technical problems.
• Perform software installations, system updates and enforce security configurations.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses and incident logs.
• Assist with data backup, recovery and basic cybersecurity measures.
• Set up user accounts, access permissions and configure devices for new and existing employees.
• Liaise with external service providers and vendors for specialized support.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of relevant IT experience.
• A degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
