Inventory Control Analyst I

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Analyst I to support inventory management, shipment planning and product availability analysis for our operations in Akwa Ibom. The role will help maintain optimal stock levels, generate accurate reports and ensure smooth inventory control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and revise shipment plans to meet customer requirements and support efficient distribution.
• Analyze inventory levels, production rates and demand to determine appropriate reorder points.
• Support inventory optimisation initiatives to balance product availability with cost reduction.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and maintain accurate records.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with periodic inventory reconciliations.
• Assist with asset valuation activities and routine inventory analysis.
• Utilise ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Follow established inventory control procedures and provide support to supervisors as needed.

Required profile

• Experience or knowledge of inventory control, supply chain, logistics or related functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyse data and prepare accurate reports.
• Capability to work under supervision while following defined procedures.
