Internal Audit Manager – Ibadan

About the role

University Press Plc is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead its audit function at the Ibadan office. The role involves overseeing internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the organization’s governance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute internal audit engagements across the company.
• Assess risk management processes and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and the board.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and integrity.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND degree with at least Second Class Lower/Lower Credit.
• Minimum of five years relevant experience, including at least two years in a managerial capacity.
• Professional certification in auditing or accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIA) is mandatory.
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
