Integrated Primary Healthcare Advisor

About the role

Jhpiego is looking for an Integrated Primary Healthcare Advisor to provide technical guidance and oversight of integrated primary health services and general hospital activities across state, local government health authority, facility and community levels.

Key responsibilities

• Offer technical assistance and mentorship for integrated service delivery in maternal, newborn, child health, nutrition, immunization, malaria, HIV and TB.
• Support state and local health teams in implementing integrated primary health care strategies, including PHCOUR, PHCUOR, MSP and related operational plans.
• Build capacity of technical working groups, NGOs and community committees to use quality improvement methodologies for high‑impact health interventions.
• Adapt federal guidelines and tools for state‑level implementation and scale‑up of integrated services.
• Strengthen structures and systems within SPHCDA, LGHA and health facilities to sustain quality integrated care.

Required profile

• Experience providing technical guidance in integrated primary health care settings.
• Proven ability to mentor and build capacity of health teams at multiple administrative levels.
• Familiarity with national health strategies and operational plans for MNCH, nutrition, immunization and malaria.
