Insurance Advisor – Client-Focused Role

About the role

The Insurance Advisor will work from Lagos on a hybrid schedule, combining office collaboration with remote work. You will guide both prospective and existing clients through the selection of suitable insurance products, explaining coverage options, policy features and pricing to help them make informed financial protection decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client needs, prepare quotations and support policy onboarding and renewals.
• Respond to client inquiries, provide exceptional customer service and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications and claims.
• Contribute to sales targets, participate in marketing and outreach activities, and stay updated on insurance regulations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in insurance and finance, with the ability to explain products clearly.
• Background in consulting or advisory services, demonstrating needs analysis and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven customer‑service orientation, empathy and responsiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, finance, business administration, economics or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with basic office and CRM software, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
