Instrumentation Engineer

About the role

Quema Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to lead classroom and hands‑on training programmes in instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation. The role is based in Port Harcourt and focuses on developing the technical capabilities of trainees to meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver classroom sessions and practical demonstrations on instrumentation and automation technologies.
• Prepare comprehensive training materials, manuals and assessment tools.
• Conduct hands‑on labs covering PLCs, DCS, SCADA, process control and calibration.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback to ensure skill acquisition.
• Maintain training equipment and ensure safety compliance during practical sessions.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in instrumentation and control systems.
• Proven ability to deliver technical training and practical demonstrations.
• Strong communication, presentation and mentoring skills.
• Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
