Instructional Design Associate

About the role

Tech4Dev is looking for an Instructional Design Associate to provide end-to-end instructional design support on learning projects. The role covers supporting facilitators' engagement processes, creating and developing course content, and applying instructional design best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage facilitators' engagement processes.
• Design and support all curriculum and course content creation.
• Develop interactive course components such as guided practices, activities, knowledge checks and assessments.
• Ensure course materials follow the program and Tech4Dev's brand guidelines.
• Recommend effective instructional strategies and execute them independently from inception to deployment.
• Apply instructional design best practices to document design, content outlines, performance support tools and learning modules.
• Support the identification and creation of media assets.
• Communicate program status updates promptly to the team and use online collaboration and meeting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning design models and e-learning development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail, creativity and a passion for learning and development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools, including Microsoft 365 and similar platforms.
• Ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content development platforms.
