About the role
Egbin Power Plc, located in Lagos, operates the largest single‑generating power station in Sub‑Saharan Africa with a 1,320 MW installed capacity. Following Nigeria’s privatization, the plant is now owned by Sahara Power Group, which aims to expand generation to at least 5,000 MW over the next five years. The company is offering a six‑month Industrial Training Programme (SIWES) from January to June 2024, providing hands‑on experience in engineering, applied industrial science, finance, information technology, and environment & safety.
Required profile
- Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent academic standing at the time of application.
- Enrollment in a relevant field of study (Engineering, Applied Industrial Science, Finance, Information & Technology, Environment & Safety).
- Availability for the full training period from January to June 2024.
