Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Implementation Specialist will own end‑to‑end deployment of our healthcare solution across Nigerian hospitals, ensuring seamless configuration, data migration, training and post‑go‑live support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver implementation projects, defining scope, milestones, sequencing and go‑live criteria.
• Conduct discovery sessions to map clinical, pharmacy, laboratory and billing workflows and configure the system accordingly.
• Manage system configuration, tariff catalogues, user roles, HMO/NHIA payer setup and reporting templates.
• Execute patient and clinical data migration, ensuring data quality, deduplication and validation.
• Provide role‑based training, create quick reference guides and establish super‑users at each facility.
• Support go‑live on‑site, triage issues, log defects and coordinate with engineering.
• Conduct health checks, adoption reviews and flag renewal risks.
• Feed back process and product improvement ideas to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Health Informatics, Nursing, Medical Records or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in software implementation, deployment or technical account management, preferably with HMIS/EMR systems.
• Hands‑on experience delivering at least one full implementation from discovery to go‑live.
• Knowledge of Nigerian hospital operations, patient flow, HMO/NHIA authorisation and billing.
• Willingness to travel across Nigeria and work extended hours during go‑live periods.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel/CSV handling at scale.
• Basic SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
