Implementation Officer – Retail POS Onboarding

About the role

The Implementation Officer will guide new retail customers through the adoption of Moniebook POS, ensuring they become confident, active users within the first 30‑60 days. This hybrid role bridges sales and long‑term success by delivering high‑touch onboarding, training, and early‑stage support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute tailored onboarding plans with clear milestones, timelines, and success metrics.
• Configure Moniebook POS for each retailer, aligning the system with their workflow.
• Deliver engaging live training sessions (individual and group) on core features and best practices.
• Monitor usage data, transaction volume, and feature adoption to identify at‑risk customers and intervene proactively.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, configurations, and issues in the CRM/CS platform.
• Hand off completed onboardings to Account Managers with comprehensive documentation and context.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in customer onboarding, implementation, or customer success, preferably with SaaS or POS solutions.
• Completed NYSC or holds a valid exemption/exclusion certificate.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, able to train diverse, non‑technical audiences.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.
