Impact Manager – Reporting, Data & Analytics (East/West Africa)

About the role

Acumen is looking for an experienced Impact Manager to lead Reporting, Data and Analytics for its regional empowerment programme across East and West Africa. The role will be based in either Nairobi or Lagos and requires on‑site presence three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the technology solution for the programme’s Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) framework.
• Adapt or create platforms such as Salesforce, Google Sheets, Power BI or Airtable to support data collection, management and routine reporting.
• Collaborate with the Impact Manager – Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning to develop quarterly reports, dashboards and KPI visualisations.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements in data management, system integration and reporting processes.
• Conduct data analysis to generate insights and develop infographics for stakeholder communication.
• Work with Impact & Insight teams in the UK and across Africa and travel occasionally within the region.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in impact measurement, data analytics or related fields.
• Strong technical efficiency with data and software solutions, and a willingness to develop AI‑related skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Nairobi or Lagos three days per week and travel as needed.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑regional teams.
