ICT Manager, Clinical and ERP Applications

About the role

The ICT Manager, Clinical and ERP Applications will lead the delivery, maintenance and enhancement of clinical and ERP systems for a multi‑specialty medical centre, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and high availability for users.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate planning and development to improve clinical systems delivery.
• Manage and develop the Clinical Applications team, monitoring performance and workload distribution.
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex service problems and ensure recovery plans are in place.
• Maintain up‑to‑date policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures for clinical systems.
• Plan and implement system enhancements, ensuring rigorous testing and risk analysis for new applications.
• Allocate resources and manage the financial budget for clinical systems.
• Lead Equality & Diversity initiatives within the Clinical Applications department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (MSc preferred).
• Extensive experience implementing and managing clinical systems in a hospital setting.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Professional certification in a relevant IT discipline (preferred).
• Evidence of continuous professional and managerial development.

Required skills

• Clinical application systems management.
• ERP applications knowledge.
• System monitoring, fault detection and resolution.
• Policy and governance compliance for clinical software.
