ICT Instructor

About the role

The ICT Instructor will deliver engaging, practical training to students in Port Harcourt. You will design lesson plans, create instructional materials and guide learners through project‑based activities that reflect current industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ICT training sessions using hands‑on, project‑based methods.
• Prepare lesson plans, course outlines and up‑to‑date instructional resources.
• Assess learners through assignments, projects, practicals and examinations.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic support and mentorship.
• Maintain classroom and laboratory environments and ensure safety.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or industry experience.
• Strong practical knowledge in one or more ICT disciplines.
• Excellent communication, presentation and classroom‑management skills.
• Ability to simplify technical concepts for learners of varying skill levels.
• Organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Professional certifications are a plus.
