Human Resources Officer

About the role

Castel Resources is seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to join its team in Port Harcourt. You will play a key role in managing recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from job postings to onboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR documentation standards.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace.
• Coordinate performance management, staff appraisals, and training initiatives.
• Administer leave, attendance, payroll inputs, and other HR administrative functions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, Nigerian labour laws, and HR best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an HR role.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
