Human Resources & Administration Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources & Administration Manager to lead our HR function across operations in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State region. You will be responsible for building a professional, disciplined workforce while supporting the company’s growth in the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and orient qualified personnel for all business units.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation and compliance files.
• Develop and implement staff retention, engagement and welfare programs.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality and performance, addressing misconduct and disciplinary matters.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure professional standards are upheld on‑site and in the field.
• Coordinate internal communication between management, operations teams, drivers and field staff.
• Support operational planning, workforce scheduling and the preparation of HR and operational reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, administration or workforce management, preferably in oil & gas, logistics or heavy equipment operations.
• Proven ability to manage discipline, staff relations and large, diverse operational teams.
• Strong organizational, reporting and leadership capabilities.
• Disciplined, fair and able to work under pressure.
