HSE Supervisor – Rig Site (Warri, Delta)

About the role

The HSE Supervisor will lead health, safety and environment activities on a rig site in Warri, ensuring risk control, emergency readiness and full compliance across drilling, work‑over and completion operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) system, job safety analyses (JSAs) and site inductions.
• Verify competence of personnel (IWCF/IADC, BOSIET, H2S).
• Conduct daily HSE meetings, emergency drills (well control, man‑overboard, fire, spill) and coordinate SIMOPS interfaces.
• Inspect DROPS, lifting gear, housekeeping, chemical handling and confined spaces; track corrective actions.
• Lead incident management, perform ICAM investigations, produce reports and maintain medevac plans.
• Oversee environmental controls: waste hierarchy, spill prevention/response, effluent management and statutory registers.

Required profile

• NEBOSH or ISPON (or equivalent) certification.
• Minimum 8 years HSE experience on oil‑field rigs.
• Strong background in PTW and SIMOPS management.
• Valid BOSIET/HUET and H2S training.
