HR Officer

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking an HR Officer to join its team in Port Harcourt, Marina. The role will support all core HR functions, ensuring smooth recruitment, employee relations and compliance with Nigerian labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labour regulations.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters and grievance resolution.
• Coordinate performance management and staff development initiatives.
• Process leave administration and support payroll‑related HR activities.
• Prepare HR reports and provide administrative support to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
• Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
