HR Assistant – Support HR Operations

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team at Seal Energy in Lagos. This internship will give you hands‑on experience in daily HR operations, employee relations and compliance within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist HR Managers with day‑to‑day tasks to ensure smooth HR operations and timely completion of routine activities.
• Maintain and update employee records accurately, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Facilitate clear communication between employees and management, helping to resolve queries and disseminate information.
• Support recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, screening applications and coordinating interview schedules.
• Provide administrative assistance for compliance and policy documentation, preparing reports and filing necessary paperwork.
• Help with employee relations matters by gathering information, preparing summaries and supporting conflict‑resolution processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
